    If you have yet to sit down to a warm, home-style meal at Cracker Barrel, you are really missing out. Cracker Barrel is known for its delicious fried chicken, tender pot roast, hot mashed potatoes, fresh vegetables, biscuits, and, well, I could go on and on.

    When you go to Cracker Barrel, you are going for a hot plate of delicious food. Amazingly, the food served here tastes as close to home made as you can get. The ingredients are fresh, and the dishes are well prepared. You can go to Cracker Barrel for breakfast, lunch or dinner. And of course, there is always desert. Just a few of your choices when you sit down at this restaurant include:

    • Meat Loaf, Mac & Cheese, Green Beans and Mashed Potatoes
    • Ham, Baby Carrots, Green Beans and Fried Apples
    • Country Fried Steak, Mashed Potatoes and Corn
    It may sound unrealistic, but Cracker Barrel has one of the best bread baskets in town. The warm biscuits are absolutely to die for. They are light and fluffy and when spread with butter, you can’t ask for more. The corn bread is also delicious, and either option is a great way to start your meal.
    But, the delicious, hot meals aren’t the only good thing about Cracker Barrel. This restaurant has a warm, cozy atmosphere. With a huge stone fireplace, antique trinkets and old-school advertisements (that any marketing coordinator would be proud of) on the walls and glowing oil lamps on the tables, you can’t help but feel pleasant and welcomed.
    There is also a gift shop attached to the restaurant where you can browse while you wait for your table. The shop is full of things like books, decorations, toys, serving dishes, jewelry, and so much more.

    At Cracker Barrel, you are never disappointed with your dinner. No matter what you order, you’ll leave the restaurant completely full and satisfied!

When you want to clean out the gutters, simply put some gloves on and hop up on a ladder. You can wash out the leftover debris with a hose and have a beautifully clean lining on your roof. If you can’t get on a ladder, pay someone to come clean your gutters for you. That won’t cost much money, and it can greatly improve the look of the home.

    Powerwash the Siding

    Steel siding does not require much upkeep, but the occasional powerwashing will help it look its best. Brick, wood, and other materials tend to look dirty over time, especially if you live in an area with a lot of dust in the air. No matter what kind of siding you have on your home, you should think about powerwashing it once a year. This process involves powerful bursts of water that can remove dirt that may be embedded on the surface of your home. You don’t need a ladder or soap to powerwash with. You just need a powerful hose and a little time. If you do not wish to buy a powerwasher, you can have a professional come out and clean the house for you. You just have to figure out what you want done and whether or not you have the tools for the project.

    The trim on your house is the part of the exterior that is most likely to crack and fade over time. By putting a fresh coat of paint on your trim, you will freshen the look of your home without spending money on an entirely new paint job. Light colors can modernize your home’s exterior, and they tend to be more inviting in the end. You can experiment with a few different colors to see what works best for you.
